The Gaston County Young Republicans are encouraged and excited about the future of the Republican Party. We have recently elected energetic and highly motivated officers who are devoted to success this election year. Below, we have outlined our 5 Key Initiatives for the remainder of 2008.

• Establish and expand the youth base within the Republican Party
• Engage in activities to assist local candidates at a grassroots level
• Extend invitations to local candidates to communicate their platform to the youth of Gaston County at group meetings and social gatherings
• Energize young, registered Republicans to be involved in “getting out the vote”
• Educate young voters on the pertinent issues of our day
